I didn't got time to play and rate your game during the voting period, but here I am finally! I managed to picture them all. That was a fun lovely & chill experience! <3
Nice little game with cute dinosaurs , 8/8 found :D But had problems taking a photo of the flying one, and one of the ground based larger ones. I could not get it to be identified until I took the picture form the other side. And also had some problems with it registering a dinosaur behind the one I was trying to take a photo of. Some kind of photo book or page showing the dinosaurs missing and the photo you took could be nice. But I know it's a jam game :D
The flying dinosaur is supposed to be the hardest as it's flying through smoke. So you only have a short window to photograph it. But it may have ended up too hard 😅
You can also be too far away or too close to get a viable picture, and other things can't block it. And there's an odd raycasting bug on top of that that returns the wrong name hehe... I will sit down some day and fix it
Yes, I think the main problem was the lack of feedback from the game system on what was wrong as I thought that the picture was unobstructed and looked clean to me. But invisible colliders might have been in the way :)

I have some feedback to give to improve the game, but it’s a jam game, so I don’t know if you have plans to update it fixing some bugs and improve some things. If you have plans to do it, where I can send it
I'm aware of a couple of bugs. Mainly that the raycasting acts weird sometimes and sees dinosaurs that aren't there. I will look over the code again when I'm not in a hurry. But if you found more stuff, feel free to write them here, or in a message to me 🙂

That would probably help! And just figuring out a more stable system for the camera too 😅
